About Cliff Jenkins
Cliff Jenkins founded New Hope Fellowship in August of 1995. What began one week with only 10 church members, grew to over 100 the very next week. Over the years, God has been faithful to New Hope Fellowship, and our founding Pastor continues to lead our congregation. Cliff was born on May 19, 1953 in McKinney, Texas. In June of 1975, he married Carol, his wife. Carol is a Registered Nurse, and serves in many ways at New Hope. Cliff and Carol have three children, Josh, Melody, and Leslie. Josh serves as the youth pastor at New Hope and Melody is an active member of the worship team.
Before starting New Hope, Cliff served as an associate pastor at the 12,000 member First Baptist Church in Orlando, Florida. He has won numerous awards and recognition for his consulting work in the area of Sunday School Growth. Through his consulting ministry, Cliff has worked with over 450 churches covering 32 states and 8 countries. He has helped over 30 MEGA Churches transition to Dual Sunday Schools and Dual Worship Services.
Having served in the mega-church, Cliff decided in August of 1995 to start a new church. New Hope Fellowship was born to be an authentic alternative to the traditional church. Cliff founded New Hope on the principle that people are more important than property. Today, we continue to meet in rented space, and devote our resources towards investing in the lives of people.
